Cosy and practical mountain hut with easy access and a fantastic location on the Hardangervidda. The cabin is surrounded by mountains and plateaus that invite you to be active outdoors all year round. In winter, well-groomed cross-country ski trails run right past the hut, and skiing and hiking are also fantastic here. In summer, hikes on the marked hiking trails or summit tours on the surrounding mountains are a great option. The holiday home is located in Maurset directly on Riksvei 7, a national tourist route between eastern and western Norway. Maurset is a tourist centre close to the spectacular Vøringsfoss waterfall with a drop of 182 metres. From Maurset it is only a short drive west to Eidfjord with its shops and cosy restaurants. Day trips to Voss, Bergen and Odda are easily possible from the holiday home. A short drive to the east and you will reach cosy towns such as Haugastøl, Ustaoset and Geilo. Here you will find wonderful alpine resorts as well as activities such as rafting, bowling, horse riding, golf, a climbing park, bike hire, a water park and much more. The village is also a good starting point for kitesurfing. Dyranut, one of Norway's best kitesurfing areas, is only 5 minutes away by car. You will also find parks such as Langedrag Nature Park, Vassfaret Bjørnepark, Gordarike Viking Park and Eventyrgarden Huso. 200 metres from the cabin you will find a charging station for electric cars. - Pets: 2 Compulsory at location: - Electricity: 2.00 NOK/Per kWh
