But Mont Ventoux also offers activities in winter: 12 km of ski slopes, snowshoes, children's area with treadmill, tobogganing, etc. The climbing site Dentelles de Montmirail north of Carpentras and south of Vaison-la -Romaine is known worldwide for its climbing walls.
