The beach is just a short walk away, so you can head to the water for a swim or a long walk at any time. Collect shells or fly a kite with your children. Visit the large white dune at Hvidbjerg Strand and enjoy the view over Vejle Fjord from this child-friendly beach. Try to climb to the top of Hvidbjerg Dune and enjoy the fantastic view over the forest area at Trelde Næs and the coast on the other side of the fjord
The beautiful nature area is ideal for long walks and bike rides. For example, visit the Munkebjerg forests with a golf course and try your luck at Casino Munkebjerg. Fredericia is home to the public Madsby play park with petting animals, mooncars and much more. You can also explore the area along national cycle route no. 5, the so-called East Coast Route.
