Maybe even a seal or a harbour porpoise will pass by on its hunt for prey. Please note that the last 100 metres to the house are an uneven path that is not cleared in winter. You can also discover the cosy town of Flensburg on the German side of the border, 30 km from here. The holiday home is located directly on the Gendarmsti hiking trail. It is one of Denmark's most beautiful hiking trails. The 74 kilometre long coastal hiking trail is divided into four daily stages: The Mountain Stage, Brick Stage, Kragesand Stage and Beach Stage. Each stage winds along the coast of the Flensburg Fjord, offering a varied and occasionally hilly landscape. On the hiking trail, you have the opportunity to experience rare plants and animals and discover many exciting biotopes and landscapes, from orchids, frogs and birds to tunnel valleys, chalk cliffs and stone reefs.
