Le Val, a small village near Brignoles, still exudes a typical Provençal ambiance and boasts several museums that tell the story of this great region. 2.6 km away is the Lac de Vins, a beautiful lake for swimming and water sports. Also worth a visit are the waterfall of Grand Baou, 4 km away, and the chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Paracol, where you have a great view of the surrounding villages. A little further away, or in Cotignac, you can see the former dwellings of cave dwellers, and a canoe trip through the unique Verdon Gorge is especially recommended.
