The town of Kelkheim, at 423 meters above sea level, is the highest town in the Main-Taunus district in the state of Hesse. The town is conveniently located on the southern slope of the Taunus Mountains, here you face nature directly. There are extensive circular hiking trails and on the Atzelberg a wooden tower with a viewing platform.
