The house is located in Gråsten, not far from the castle, and is a central starting point to visit many sights in a pretty and historically interesting area. You can explore the beautiful countryside on foot or by bike all year round. You can fish in the Flensburg Fjord, and there is a fish cleaning place by the marina. Golf you can play on the exciting course of nearby Benniksgaard Golf, which is located in a historic, protected nature area in Rinkenæs to the Flensburg Fjord.
