The Limfjord has child-friendly beaches with low water and optimal conditions for windsurfing and other forms of sailing. In the beautiful and varied landscape, the many nature trails will take you through areas of cultural and natural history. After only an hour's drive you are within reach of exciting sights and attractions. These include Jesperhus Blomsterpark, Hjerl Hedes open-air museum, Spøttrup medieval castle, Skive Badeland swimming pool, Stubber monastery ruins and the Planetstien trail. You can also go underground to the unique lime mines Mønsted and Daugbjerg, where you will see the world's largest lime mine, bats and fossils, or hear stories about Jens Langkniv.
