Family Marine Apartment with Sea View

Host was very helpful with all information on how to access the property and parking etc. Apartment was easy to access via the key box. Plenty of parking spaces around the back of the property. The property was close to main town of Dawlish which was very helpful just a few minutes drive or 15 minute walk along the main road. The apartment had plenty of room for everyone. Bedrooms and lounge area were decorated lovely.

The apartment needed a little TLC, few cracks in walls and it was tidy but could do with a deep clean. Some of the trays in the oven were old and needed updating. The kitchen could really do with a good deep clean. The host did mention about the water pressure and temperature of the water in the arrival message but it was a little annoying that we could only use one water source at a time to maintain the pressure. Also as it was hot temperatures we had the windows open which was then quite noisy due to the main road and busy row of shops under the apartment.

Stairs, narrow to my liking and difficult to climb with a big trolley

Large, well arranged once inside.

Immediate stairs to get to property. Smelt musty and of smoke on arrival. Not a clean and fresh feel anywhere. Stains on single duvet. Smears on all glass. Mouldy shower door. Blocked drainage on wet room shower floor. Had an of outdated unclean feeling throughout apartment. Not really sea views - misleading! Out of 1 bedroom window. Noisy location on road above shop. Working the water was a disaster - no pressure and freezing cold shower, despite following the instructions (as it’s a known problem) it still didn’t work and I shouldn’t have to deal with it, needs fixing.
