Le vieux chai

Le vieux chai is an absolute delight as are Jacques and Françoise who were so very kind and helpful. The pictures don't do the gite justice. It is high spec but at the same time charming. The village is lovely, peaceful and unspoilt. We travelled all round the Island and just loved it, we are coming back!

It was very hot (the whole of Europe was sweltering) but we had brought an electric fan with us, however, I am sure that Jacques would have appeared with one if we had asked, he is that thoughtful and accommodating. We have an EV and found charging the car on the island almost impossible as the card readers would not work with British Bank cards so make sure if you have an EV that you get an RFID card in plenty of time and use a relevant App.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Tolle Lage, alles perfekt ausgestattet. Radwege und Geschäfte in der Nähe. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub.
