Mmathaba Guest House

The ambience, the quiet, the personal space and the peace it offered. Although we were in Mmadinare village for a somber occasion, this hotel offered us quiet and peace, exactly what we needed. A walk in their beautiful garden topped it off. The little birds singing, the rock rabbits basking in the early morning sun, right behind the facility. We slept in one of their traditional grass roofed rooms. No ceiling, just grass, and it felt like home. Made us nostalgic. This place starts to be our home away from home, from today!! And the young lady checking us in and out, was marvellous, showing us a couple of rooms so we could pick what we liked. We were told the owners were not around that weekend. But because of the warm welcome from their staff, it felt like they were also there.

The swimming pool was so inviting to our little niece. She wanted to take a deep, but it was cloudy and a bit chilly that day. Couldn't use the pool. Hopefully they will look into heating the pool.
