This is a beautiful and spacious house in a great location for exploring the gorgeous Solway Coast. We spent spring bank holiday enjoying Silloth and its surroundings. The town is full of the friendliest people and we enjoyed our evenings at some great pubs. The town has a marvellous promenade and a summer house on the green has a view that Turner thought worth commemorating. We came here as a family of four Adults for some much needed R&R and it proved a good choice. The long walk along the coast we took is in area of Outstanding natural beauty was a highlight and we returned to a well-equipped house and well chilled bottle of wine from a welcome basket supplied by our hosts. A shout out to the hosts for great customer service too. A repair they’d previously commissioned to the bathroom door lock failed during our visit. One phone call later they turned up on a bank holiday weekend screwdriver in hand and fixed themselves. Can’t argue with customer service like that! We’ll be back to enjoy this lovely house and town again very soon I hope.

Nothing! Even the parking (usually a problem in most houses we’ve stayed at in popular coastal resorts) was easy, and free. Unrestricted street parking on a wide road meant we were usually able to park right outside the property. The only problem we had was rectified immediately with sincere apologies (and more wine).

Wow what a lovely place to stay! Been coming up to Silloth for over 20 years to see my grandad, but now have a young family and needed more room. What a homely venue, really felt like a home away from home. So close to all facilities in the town and the place it self was gorgeous. Thank you, and we will be coming again :)

It was a lovely clean and comfortable house and the host was very helpful and friendly. The beach was lovely and we enjoyed walking on the promenade. A highlight of our stay was our daily visit to the Fairy Emporium tearoom with its very welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere.

We were disappointed in the town's pack of amenities. Although it was a nice friendly place, most of the restaurants were closed for most of our stay The only one that appeared to be open didn't allow dogs so we were unable to use this one. Sadly the Fairy Emporium wasn't open for dinner.The house

close proximity to the local facilities, host supplied a lot of local information before arrival which was very helpful. Premises were easy to find and parking easy
