I had an amazing time at Jonny’s place Jonny and his family are so welcoming and couldn’t do enough.

Just to be aware that this is in jungle so do not come if you are scared of animals.

Jonny, Eddie and his whole family, including the loveable and adorable Peggie pet dog, who we fell in love with! Jungle room was rural, teeming with life in the jungle atmosphere and woken to delish pancakes and fruit. I consider them humble, respectful, and the most hospitable Muslims I’ve ever met. You do the religion proud!! As a revert to Islam, I’m so honoured to spend time with you as a humble family. You are my friends now!

Nothing at all! They could not have worked harder to make us happy and amazing sunsets and beauty. What is NOT to love!

Everything was very nice, the room was clean and bed very comfortable. You can see the sunrise across the rice fields right from your bed and you have your own balcony to enjoy your breakfast or to chill during the day with a view. The owner Jonny and his family made me feel very welcome, they were very kind and I really enjoyed my stay there. They also offer guided tours, which is a great option if you want to explore the area with a local guide.

The bathroom is a traditional one, nothing wrong with it actually, just so you expect it before coming :)

The house is pleasantly located among the fields, with friendly hosts and sociable dogs.

As for the house itself, I’d mention the almost non-existent soundproofing and a very weak shower, but those are minor things I could easily live with. However, the two days I spent there ended up being very uncomfortable, and here’s why: During both days, I had to constantly beg the hosts for internet access. In reality, out of three rooms, only one gets any Wi-Fi signal, and even when I was moved there for one night (after multiple complaints), the internet still cut out completely by 10 PM. Suggestions like “we’ll turn on a mobile phone hotspot when you need it” or “you can stand near the room with signal and try to connect from there” don’t exactly feel like a comfortable solution. No, seriously — I think the number of times I had to complain that the Wi-Fi had stopped working again, or that it was connected but without internet, easily exceeded ten times in just two days. I need internet for work, for planning the next stages of my trip, and frankly for relaxing — watching a movie before bed or chatting with friends. Especially when there’s not much to do in the area after dark. And this constant, frustrating need to beg for a signal just wore me down and ruined my entire experience at this place. > upd after owner's reply: no, it's not a "one issue after 10pm", it's a constant problems with the WiFi network inside the house (many times during my staying) and also with the internet provider (at least 2 times for 2 days).
