Chata Mazurska

The apartment is in a perfect location, very close to the nice bike trail, which we wanted to see. The nature, the animals - everything is very close. The house was clean, there is a table and benches outside, so you can enjoy your meals and evenings outside.

Eventhough there were 4 beds, only 1 of them was made for sleeping. We came 2 friends, so we had to ask for extra bed linen and do the other bed ourselves. There were only 2 towels, so we also had to ask for more. There is no ceiling lighting in the house, the dining room has only one table lamp, which doesn't give enough of the light, so the rooms are very dark in the evenings. There is a mirror next to the door and make-up table - but you can't put your make up there, as there is no light. In the kitchen there is only one small lamp under the cabinets. We had to buy candels to make the house more cosy. We were there in the middle of September, the house was not heated, the floor was very cold and you could feel moisture, the towels couldnt get dry, everything stayed wet. So we had to ask for wood for the fireplace and get the rooms warm and cozy. The host brought us 3 woods as in the picture, so we again had to ask for more. There was no barbeque set as it was written - or maybe again we had to ask for it, but we were already tired of asking. We saw the lake and the wooden path shown in the picture while leaving, it's maybe 300m away from the house, we had no information. All nearer paths to the lake are private and you can't go there. I haven't slept 2 nights at all as there were mices or other animals and they were scratching all night long. Disaster, I came back home more tired than I was before. The hosts should take care of it ASAP.
