Relaxing, Private Family Home At Lake Berkley Resort, South Facing Pool, Near Disney, SeaWorld

The Villa was perfect for our stay, it had everything we needed, it was also close by to all main attractions. The Villa itself & pool area were fantastic. We had a great stay.

Location - very easy drives from all parks, Walmart very close by, gated estate. Great facilities, thoughtful touches such as pantry, games room, lots of clothes hangers, blankets and towels. The owners, John and Donna were so helpful and pleasant before, during and after our stay - lovely couple.

A few things were a little worn or tired but it did not affect our stay hugely.

Great location for visiting the Florida parks as well as being close to Walmart. Nice big fridge for storing all the essentials and plenty of sitting areas for everyone to relax in the evening. I love having a washing machine on holiday, however could have done with a clothes horse for hanging washing on, as I personally am not a fan of using tumble driers due to having sensitive skin. Lots of bathrooms which made getting ready in the mornings that little bit easier as we weren't all queuing for the shower. Hosts were responsive when I emailed about a couple of things.

One of the main things we looked out for when choosing a villa was one with a barbeque, as eating outside whilst the whole family enjoys the swimming pool is a huge part of our family holiday. This villa had a barbeque listed, as well as photographs of it, however there was no barbeque - I messaged the hosts who confirmed this, so we were very disappointed that one of us had to stay indoors cooking whilst everyone else was outside having fun. What made it more frustrating was the fact that neighbouring properties had barbeques, so we could smell their food cooking away whilst they were having fun in the pool! My kids really enjoy playing pool, however the pool table was so un-level that it was impossible to play, as the balls continuously rolled to one side. Sadly because of the barbeque, this is not somewhere we would choose to stay again, but I'm sure it would be perfect for families who are not fussed about a barbeque.
