Meget meget gammel seng.

The fact that we booked the top room with space and great views! Rest of the inn lacks space but not character! Shared bathrooms & shower clean.

The fact that all extra charges for bed sheets, cleaning, check in after 5pm were only communicated when booking was made without cancellation options. Criticism @ Booking .com, no the host who just wishes to offer low cost option IF guests prefer to save and bring sheets.

The place is very close to the harbour, which is a plus. The garden has a lot of potential and is probably very nice to enjoy during the summer months. I visited in October, so I didn’t get to experience it in that way.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. My main concern was the additional fee of 400 DKK for arriving after 5 p.m. Although the fee was mentioned in the messages, it was not communicated clearly enough for me to understand that it applied to arrivals after this time. What made this particularly frustrating was that the following morning, I left my key inside the room and the door unlocked, and the owner seemed perfectly fine with this. I therefore struggle to understand why I had to pay 400 DKK for the owner to come and unlock the door the previous evening, when leaving the room unlocked the next morning was apparently not a problem. A simple key safe would have been a much more reasonable solution. The owner’s attitude was also disappointing. He was not openly rude, but he came across as unfriendly and seemed unhappy that I had arrived, which made me feel unwelcome. As a host myself, with high ratings on both Airbnb and Booking.com, I find this particularly difficult to understand. Clear communication and a welcoming attitude are essential to a good guest experience. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.
