This 4 bedroom ranch style getaway is your home away from home. Sleeps 8-10 comfortably and up to 12 with extra guest fee. It is fully equipped with cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, appliances galore, a charcoal BBQ grill, indoor/outdoor games, a vac sealer, fish processing tables and so much more. The home is spacious with a 1424 sqft. floorplan that is a very nice layout making it ideal for large groups, sports teams and/or large families. The Rusty Moose features 4 bedrooms (1 queen bed in bedroom 1, 1 queen bed in bedroom 2, 2 twin beds and 1 full bed in bedroom 3, 1 full bed in bedroom 4), 2 bathrooms (one with a bath/shower/washer & dryer in the main part of home and one with a shower in the master bedroom), a nice dining room area with an expandable table and seating for up to 7 and access to the back yard, a spacious living room with 1 double reclining couch and 2 high back chairs and a spacious entry area for taking off your shoes and coat. We have supplied a pack n play at the home to help with infants but there is not an actual crib. There is a 484 sqft. garage with 2 extra refrigerator/freezer combo for fish, game or extra food. There are multiple storage closets inside of the house and nice deep shelves in garage. The backyard is fully fenced and is the perfect area to play outdoor games, toss a ball with your pup or sit out on the deck or around the fire pit to enjoy great weather or a drink a cold beverage while relaxing in the afternoon sun. This property is next to a well used bike path so is perfect for taking fur babies out for a stroll. This property is centrally located on the Peninsula making it 5 minutes to Kenai in one direction and 5 minutes to Soldotna in the other direction. It is within walking distance of a popular Kenai River guide meet up boat launch and 5-15 minutes to multiple other boat launches, the Kenai North & South Beach access points, the Salamatof Beach, and so many more popular local destinations. One of the unique things at our property is our guest information book which gives many tips and options for free local fun and what to do while you are here. We leave you a nice basket of goodies for those unexpected snack attacks. If you love road trips, our property is a great starting point for a scenic drive to Homer, Seward or Anchorage.
