Get away from it all! Quiet and serene! Surrounded by wild horses and nature! The house backs up to the National Wildlife Refuge but is also a quick walk to the beach, or drive to the beach and tailgate there for the day! 4x4 ONLY! And DON’T FORGET TO AIR DOWN YOUR TIRES! You can also relax on the decks or take a short drive to town and visit the local attractions of Corolla and Duck! Located off of the beaten path but close enough to stores, restaurants, and everything you need for a great vacation!

We absolutely loved our stay in this home. The photo’s in the listing don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful! We saw lots of wild life, as it is tucked back in at the end of the lane. It’s very quiet there. No traffic or visible neighbors. We saw horses every day of our stay to and from the beach. Our kids LOVED it. There were a lot of things for them to do. The hosts were wonderful to communicate with. They were helpful and kind! Definitely recommend booking this home.

Sand and Stable is a beautiful home! We enjoyed a wonderful family trip with grandparents and family! The house was clean and well maintained. Jesse was responsive and so helpful! I highly recommend!

House is great! Location is great, tucked back in the reserve so no busy traffic even during July 4th season and very close to 4wd beach. Saw dozens of wild horses. Only suggestions I would have if staying here: 1 bring a gate for the stairs if you have little ones, and do not wait until 10am to check out. Traffic from Corolla to Duck took 2 hours. Other then that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back!
