Welcome to Our Peaceful Farmhouse Near Schumaker Pond
Step into comfort at our spacious 3-bedroom, 4-bed, 2.5-bath home — a welcoming retreat where relaxation comes naturally. Nestled in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, this home has been at the heart of our family gatherings since 1950, and we’re excited to share it with you.
Inside, you’ll find airy living and family rooms, a fully equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals, and a unique sitting room perfect for reading or unwinding. Enjoy meals in the separate dining room or step out to the screened-in porch for morning coffee or evening conversations overlooking the large backyard and nearby water feature.
We’re perfectly located for both leisure and events:
•Baseball/Softball: 13 minutes to Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex, under 10 minutes to Winter Place Park.
•Basketball/Wrestling: Less than 5 minutes to the Wicomico Civic Center.
•Nearby Attractions: Salisbury University, Salisbury Zoo, parks, YMCA, and Route 50 just 2 miles away; Ocean City’s beaches are only 29 miles from your door.
Our home is stocked with comfort in mind, featuring 2 queen beds, 2 full beds, and an optional queen air mattress (available upon request). Modern amenities include fast WiFi, streaming-ready TVs, updated appliances, and a washer/dryer. You’ll have plenty of parking with a one-car garage, multiple parking pads, and a U-shaped driveway.
We take pride in our cleanliness. Unlike many rentals and even hotels, we wash all bedding and comforters between each and every stay, so you can truly relax knowing your space is fresh and ready.
Guest Access
The entire home is yours — three bedrooms, 2.5 updated bathrooms, spacious living areas, and a large semi-fenced yard perfect for games or relaxation. Guests enter through the garage entrance. Attics and sheds are not included in the rental.
A Note on Our Historic Home
The main structure dates back to 1910, which gives it its farmhouse charm. Some upstairs ceilings are lower than in modern homes, so taller guests may need to be mindful.
We’ve poured our hearts into every detail to make your stay peaceful, comfortable, and memorable. Whether you’re here for sports, a family getaway, or to explore Maryland’s Eastern Shore, we look forward to hosting you.

Marion was super helpful, easy to reach, and kind! The house was perfect for our group of moms and daughters-space to spread out and larger living room spaces to gather. LARGE yard-perfect for kids to run with a cute screened in patio for evening cards or breakfast. Well stocked, labeled, kitchen. Beach/backyard Chairs, cornhole, and board games were all available. Extra fridge in garage for on the go stuff. Remodeled-bathrooms were nice! Definitely an older house, but clean and fit the bill.

We rented the house for the weekend to ride the Seagull Century. The house was perfect. Location was great and the house had everything we needed. Spacious and very clean and tidy. Hosts did a great job of communicating and were super easy to deal with. We would definitely stay there again.

The accommodations were beyond expectations and met our needs completely! Everything was within a reasonable drive, and we wanted for absolutely nothing! Thank you very much for hosting us, and we look forward to our next visit to the area and hopefully another opportunity to stay with you.

House is beautiful and clean. One of the best stocked houses I’ve stayed in. They had shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, etc. it was great! Convenient location as well.
