About this house rental
Delightful small beach house. Second year as a rental, lovely updates to entire house, comfortable furnishings and Bay views for miles! Fenced area for dogs.
We are Premier Hosts with other Vrbo properties here. Relax and enjoy the 14 miles or so open water of the Delaware Bay out your windows. Waterfront deck with picnic table with lots of seating. Watch the ships at night anchored out in the Bay with their lights on. Enjoy the balmy breezes.
So you know, we do not furnish sheets and towels but have them available as rentals. Also, we have a pet fee of $100 per pet and we have an enclosed area with 3 foot high fencing for them to do their business. We have dogs as members of our family. If you plan to bring a boat we would appreciate it if it is
on the smaller size as we just had another layer of gravel put on our driveway and heavy vehicles don't do well..

Our only problem with the property was the fact that both beds were memory foam beds and one of us is unable to lie on these beds. Suggest that at least one of the beds be a high quality standard mattress

Absolutely loved our stay in this lovely waterfront home. Quiet, peaceful & no traffic. Access to the beach was easy & the tables & chairs by the water were comfortable & made it even nicer to enjoy the water & view! The fenced area for dogs is even better than the pictures show & our dog loved being able to go from the deck to the yard safely & securely. It was our dog’s first time at the beach & she loved it. The house was stocked with everything we needed & very clean! We never even turned on the TV - the water view was all we needed! Thanks Ron & Ann for providing binoculars! As soon as we walked in the house, we said to ourselves - darn we should’ve brought our binoculars - and there was a pair on the table - great for viewing the ships & birds. We enjoyed the nature center down the road & the marsh bird sanctuary viewing boardwalk just down & across the street. We will definitely come back!. We also appreciated the solar lights along the beach path as it made it easier to get back from a sunset beach walk. The only thing that could make this house just a bit better is some ottomans so you can put your feet up while relaxing/napping ;-) as we lived in & loved the back sunroom! Thanks for sharing your tranquil & pretty home with us!

This beach house was perfectly set up, relaxing colors, comfortable and very pet friendly! We all enjoyed our trip walking on the quiet beach, watching the sunrises and sunsets and enjoying the beauty of nature. We loved our stay!

Absolutely lovely setting if you’re looking for a tranquil getaway surrounded by nature. Clean home with views of the bay and beautiful sunrises from the front deck and views of the marsh and sunsets from the back deck. Perfect location for bird watching and private beach walking. House was well equipped and very clean. Furniture was dated while bathrooms and appliances were updated. Access to remote for gas fireplace and access to beach umbrella was not available to us during our stay, which would have been nice. The location gave us easy access to great restaurants and shopping in nearby Milford and Lewes. Great hiking trails in nearby state parks and fun ferry ride to Cape May made this vacation getaway special!
