This is our second stay at Hemley Cottage. We love so many things - the location, its cosiness, the local wildlife that visit behind the house, the amenities, such a beautiful place to spend a few days.

Lovely house, very well appointed, clean, easy check in, very close to the centre of hall's gap. Perfect space for our family of 5 to unwind and do some hiking. We will be back. Thanks so much!

Unfortunately we only had a few pleasant hours at the Hemley cottage before the smoke blew ferociously all around us. We had a message on one person’s phone to evacuate so we zipped off to friends in Stawell . Very fortunate . We didn’t really have much information about the progress of the fire . If the one person had not got the evacuate messsage I don’t know what would have happened. However we got a very prompt refund, thank you. Maybe we’ll stay again when it’s winter time.
