About this apartment rental
The Restoration Hideaway offers a one bedroom, one bathroom, fully furnished apartment with a kitchen near Yosemite National Park. This serene yet secluded location is positioned off of the main Highway 49 without any sight or sound of it. Breezeway to separate the space from the main house. Queen bed plus futon available in the room, as wells pullout bed in the living room.
The space was a thriving rental with five star hosts. The current owner is committed to providing outstanding hosting and service available.

Surrounded by mountains. Breathtaking sunsets. Numerous outdoor activities only minutes away. Museums, rivers and parks galore! 30-40 minutes away from the Yosemite National Park.

Nearest diesel gas is in the town Oakhurst, about 7 miles away. Closest regular gas is about 3 miles away. Grocery stores, restaurants, movie theater etc. in Oakhurst.

We stayed here for several nights while visiting Yosemite and were very happy with everything. The privacy and coziness felt nice after long days hiking. And the hot tub was a major plus!

We had issues initially trying to contact the host to check in early, we never heard back so we showed up at 6pm. The place had not been cleaned since the last guest, the host explained that VRBO had never contacted her to let her know we were booked. She said she would clean the place so we went out to eat. While we were out, she texted again apologizing for the mix up, she also offered to credit us back the cleaning fee due to the issue. She also stated that the internet was out but she gave us her personal network password. We returned to a nice clean place and enjoyed the hot tub and the spacious accommodations. Having a washer dryer as stated was a nice chance to check up on our laundry. We noticed that there was no bath soap in the shower, she stated that she did not provide all personal soaps (? It states in the description it is included), we found some hand soap in the kitchen and used that. We had our issues with check in and communication but once we settled in we really enjoyed the place.

sadly there was no wifi on the property on both days of our stay and we only found out when i messaged the host that i could not find the wifi named on the check-in post-it note. both the pull-out couches were super short (i’m fairly short and my heels were right by the edge, my boyfriend hang off the bed). the hot tub was really nice and the bathroom was spacious. however, there was only shampoo and no body wash, this was the first rental i’ve been in that didn’t provide that. there were quite a bit of ants on the property. i saw that there were ant traps but sadly they weren’t working too well.
the hosts lived right next door and they walked by a number of times so sadly it wasn’t as isolated and private as we had hoped. there was also a rooster on the property that would not stop screaming in the mornings LOL
