The farmhouse is close to several grocery stores, (Meijer, Jewel, Aldi) restaurants (Uptown, Tap House Grill, La Tortuga Feliz) and shops (Target, Walmart).
Getting Around:
Parking at the house is convenient with a private driveway that can accommodate 6 vehicles. For exploring Plainfield and surrounding areas the best is by car.

+ Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP.
+ The pool is seasonal- it is open mid-May to early September, weather permitting. **
+ The pool is not covered, so natural debris like leaves, grass, and bugs may occasionally fall into it. The pool is cleaned weekly on Thursdays and a net is provided for your convenience if you'd like to scoop out any debris. Please understand that refunds will not be issued for debris in the pool.
+ For stays longer than a month, monthly cleanings are required and it is $100 cleaning fee per month.
+ Guest occupancy over 8 people is $50 per day per person.
★IMPORTANT★
We wanted to let you know there was a small fire recently with the outdoor grill that was contained to just the grill itself. However that area is not able to be used, but we have brought another propane grill that you are welcome to use during your stay. Also, the pergola lights will not be able to be used because the electrical that we used to plug them in is turned off right now due to the fire as well. We truly apologize for the inconvenience, and please know we’re already working with our contractors to get it repaired and back in working order as soon as possible.

Lovely refurbished farm house, wonderful pool - unfortunately the outdoor grill and pergola were off limits due to a fire which occurred prior to our stay - I’m sure they will fix this. Minor details where there could be improvement but overall this was a wonderful, relaxing place to stay with extended family

The property is fine. It was professionally cleaned. Instructions were clear. The listing states that the primary bed shower handle doesn’t work right and that there is no ice. After spending time there, I cannot understand why the property managers would waste time printing out a little card explaining how to work the broken shower handle rather than pay to have it replaced. Likewise for the ice maker, which does exist and has a water line running to the fridge already (note - the “filter replacement due” light flashing red). Overall fine but not comparable to other properties I’ve stayed at with professional management.
