The VRBO was a solid stay; clean, had all the essentials. Missing a few little things like body soap and laundry detergent which were also not available at the little market in town. The cleaners did bring laundry detergent upon request which was great. A few planning tidbidts; las catalinas is adorable! But it is isolated and feels very different from other towns. Not a traditional costa rican feel if that is what you are looking for. The VRBO had a great kitchen set up but you'll need to get groceries before coming into town, there is no where to do real shopping once you arrive. Uber is not a dependable option in this location, highly suggest a rental car or dont plan on leaving.

Loft was close to all available amenities of Las Catalinas, including The Beach Club pool, restaurants, the beach and biking and hiking trails. Local townspeople were friendly and helpful. As a guest, we were treated very well. The loft was clean and comfortable and included all accessories. The staff at Tropical Homes was very helpful particularly at a time where we had to arrange a extra day of stay due to flight cancellations. Concierge helped arrange both luggage movements upon arrival and departure.
There was a SmarTV but no network access. The front door next to the front door step showed light under it so it could have sealed better for safety and pest access. Certain local sanitary sewer rules were unusual and inconvenient.
