Located in Nelson's Uphill neighbourhood we are a 5 minute walk to downtown and 2 blocks away from the Uphill Market where you can get a delicious Latte, snacks and grocery basics.
High enough up the mountain to be off of Mainstreet but low enough that it is an easy walk uphill.
Close to the Alpine hotel where the ski hill shuttle picks up.

Beautiful period home with lots of space as we had a family wedding. Great location with the town in walking distance. Would definitely recommend the property

Beautiful old heritage home. Plumbing needs some attention, especially in upstairs bathroom. Very difficult to use shower. The second shower is lovely. There are really only two bathrooms; the one is divided into two but only has one toilet and shower.The downstairs bedroom has no closet, thus, no place to hang anything. Even a hook on the wall would suffice!Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and enjoyed our time there!

First of all, we couldn’t ask for a better host. Kristin was there to greet us when we arrived and dealt quickly with any issues we had. There were 9 of us, my brothers, sister and spouses get together every year and have been in many VRBO’s and we all think Kristin is the best host we have had. The home accommodated us with 5 bedrooms, and it is a short walk to town which is lovely. We had a private backyard to sit and visit, a big table in the kitchen to dine and play games in the evening. It was clean, well stocked with everything you need (the best we have ever had) and there is lots to do in Nelson. Being a heritage home the inside stairs are narrower though so the loft room is not suitable for people with mobility issues. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Kristin.

I was concerned from the photos that the living room was going to be a bit small but it wasn't too small for ten women to comfortably visit.
