Lovely condo with swimming pool and ocean view near Kona center

Benita's place was all you could wish for a Big Island trip: perfect location, easy to find, close to everything, spacious and clean. It was almost too big for 2 people with an extra washroom, big living room and bedroom and a huge balcony - our favorite spot. Full size fridge and stove with an oven allowed us to cook breakfasts and some dinners in the condo. Finding olive oil and lots of spices in the cupboards helped too. I wished the air conditioner was not as loud as it was but it also worked perfectly as a white noise. We turned it off first thing in the morning and enjoyed open windows. We didn't use the snorkel equipment but beach chairs, towels and big umbrella was all we needed for a day on the beach (beautiful Hapuna beach it was). I'd suggest to replace the beach chairs with bigger ones, but it's still better than nothing. Overall we enjoyed our 3 nights stay (wish it was longer) and definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Hawaii. Mahalo!!

Excellent location. Owner very quick to respond to any questions. Missing the living room chair as seen in picture. Would definitely stay there in the future.

Condo was nice, had good knives and pans and was within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping. The downside was that the Kona Pacific management decided to shut down the pool for 3 weeks in the middle of high tourist season to refresh the grout and replace a few tiles. The work crew only worked an average of 4 hours a day. Management also shut our water off one morning and the entire complex lost power one night for and hour. There was no compensation for any of these inconveniences. The condo owner was great; she tried to get them to postpone the work on the pool and gave us several suggestions on where we could travel to to swim. Otherwise is was a good place to stay.

Very nice, very clean, well equipped, host thought of everything one may need. Host communicated very well. Perfect for our vacation of two.
