Prominence is one of the most popular communities on 30A and features incredible amenities, open green spaces and easy access to over 17 miles of bike paths. Prominence is perfectly located to new and long time 30A haunts as well as the beautiful white beaches of Scenic 30A. Guests will enjoy a beautiful town center and 2 resort style pools.
Located at the town center, the Big Chill is a hot-spot for entertainment and features an outdoor 25 ft LED theater screen for sporting events and movie nights on the green. Concerts, family activities, restaurants, and boutique shops are just some of the things to do within a less than 5 minute walk.
Prominence is centrally located on 30A between Seagrove and Seaside to the west and Alys and Rosemary Beach to the east.

Beach Accesses for ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.
INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.
E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

The unit itself was very nice accommodations although the VRBO listing stated there was free golf and cruises included but when we checked in and asked about them we were told this was only for <27 night stays and we booked for 30 nights. This was not disclosed in the original VRBO listing. In addition, two days prior to checking in on Feb. 10 we received a notification that was dated the first week of October stating highway 30A was going to be closed about a mile west of the unit during our entire stay. Both of the aforementioned would have impacted our decision to book this unit so feel the listing and communication were less than genuine. In addition, the listing stating beach chairs were included which they were none on site until we reached out and asked about them. This was rectified in a couple of days. Lastly, the bicycles were not operable when we arrived and clearly hadn’t been serviced all winter and it took 5 days to get this rectified.
