With 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and 1 large sleeping loft. Amenities include Wifi, mini-split air conditioning/heating system, pellet stove, propane BBQ, and a spacious deck for enjoying cool mountain evenings. It is furnished with a queen bed in each bedroom, another queen bed, and a twin daybed with a twin trundle in the sleeping loft.
Avid Hiker Lodge is located just inside Yosemite National Park, in the historic town of Wawona. Only a few miles from the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, and a short walk to the South Fork of the Merced River, the historic Wawona Hotel, and multiple hiking trails. There is easy access to this cozy 2 story cabin. As you enter you are greeted by vaulted wood ceilings. The open-concept kitchen is perfect for spending time with the family while you cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms downstairs, each with a queen bed and one and a half bathrooms. The loft area hosts more sleeping space with a queen bed and a daybed with a trundle. Perfect little house in the park- had everything you could possibly need for a great visit to Yosemite and lots of room to spread out and not be crowded. Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Avid Hiker Cabin. It is located in Wawona which is just inside the gates of Yosemite Ntl park. Note, it’s about 40+ min drive into Yosemite valley. The Pine street store is close enough to walk to if you need groceries.
The cabin was clean and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the AC worked… made the hot summer visit pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well; away from the hustle/bustle of Yosemite valley.
The kitchen was well stocked with most everything you’d need to cook. We made pancakes on our last morning.
There was a washer/dryer in the cabin though we didn’t use it. Two bathrooms, one with a shower. Would advise you to bring your own toiletries - no shampoo/conditioner provided which was no big deal as we had packed ours.
There was a propane BBQ on the deck and a nice outdoor seating area with sun umbrella we didn’t use any but nice it was available
TV with Hulu, Netflix which was a hit with kids. Wi-Fi worked well which also was a hot with kids.
Overall, very comfortable, cute & met our needs.
