Mountain House of Wonder

Daya operates this little airbnb/hostel type/boutique style getaway.....nice little touches such as a small self serve coffee/tea bar, lounge area with a wood stove outdoor sitting area, couch and television. Quiet and comfortable. The room was also very nice with a large, plush king sized bed. For quiet rest and relaxation, I will definitely stay again. The host is a lovely person to boot. 😊

It is in a lovely spot up in the mountains with trees all around, albeit a bit remote and away from any services areas (stores, restaurants, etc).

It’s a little further out than expected. So bring your groceries with you. I didn’t so I had to drive another hour to get my groceries. I stayed in the King room with a private bathroom. The bed is way too soft for me but that’s personal preference, I was very happy I at least brought my own pillow. The room could use a TV. There is a weird smell in the room. You’ll get used to it but every time you leave the room and you come back in, it hits you in the face again. I knew it was a shared space but I did not realize how open it is to the owners which I thought was weird. Plus you can literally hear them pee right above your head… The wifi is VERY glitchy!
