Riad Merzouga Dunes

A lovely hotel with beautiful interior design, exceptionally friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast. The rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable, and the swimming pool was fantastic. A perfect place to spend a night on the edge of the Sahara Desert, especially as a base for quad biking or camel trekking before heading into the desert camp. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!

The only downside was that the showerhead holder was broken, so we had to hold the showerhead by hand. This was a minor inconvenience, but it did take away a little from the otherwise luxurious experience.
