The accommodation was beautiful and all the added personal touches made it feel very special. The family were very welcoming and friendly. Gorgeous breakfast and the pool area/terrace so clean and tranquil.

incredibly well located hotel very convenient via taxi/bus or train for festivals in Cannes. lovely historic building, sympathetically restored with incredible architectural details and stories about its past glories. currently an incredibly stylish and comfortable boutique hotel with a good sized pool, and great services considering that it is not a huge hotel.

very hard to write something i don't like about this place. The entrance isn't obvious so perhaps that's a thing, but once you know you're looking for an antique door in a white wall you're gearing up for the calm oasis that waits for you behind the wall...

From the moment Virginie met us at the wooden gate until our last day when Laurent walked us to the car our stay was absolute perfection!! We had spent the previous 10 days staying in three other highly-rated hotels (Hotel De L'Europe in Amsterdam, Hotel Le Grand Mazarin in Paris, and the Intercontinental in Lyon - each around $1500 per night for perspective) and this stay was far and above the best of our vacation. Virginie showed us a few rooms - each a bit different from the others and all MAGICAL. It was so difficult to choose which one we loved more. The beds / bedding were incredibly comfortable and it was so quiet at night. The only sounds we heard were the dawn chorus of the birds. They also have the loveliest pool with a variety of outdoor seating where you are surrounded by beautiful landscaping full of flowers and fruit trees. The jasmine was in bloom and lemons hung from the trees. I cannot forget to mention their charming bar with a variety of drinks - and breakfast was fantastic! So many choices and every little detail is clearly thought through by the hosts. From the beautiful dining room to the preparation and quality of ingredients. Again start to finish the experience was flawless. Another family member joined us, and stayed in a separate room. She had spent 3 months in Vallauris at an art residency and her last two night in France were at La Batisse en Blanc - she said she couldn't imagine a better way to wind-down from her trip. Her "best nights sleep in 3 months!" We were sorry we didn't get to see Charlotte, their daughter, more. She was so charming. We look forward to another visit to the south of France and using Le Batisse en Blanc as our base. It was so easy to get there from the Nice train station, where we rented a car, and to depart from the Nice airport. It is walking distance to restaurants and bakeries, and the waterfront of course.

There was nothing to dislike about our stay. It was perfect!
