Stunning Beachfront Condo With Private Beach, Las Terrenas-El Limón

Some 30 luxurios privately owned condos with the name ALTAMAR. The condo is well furnished with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets and full kitchen. It has a very large balcony with a garden/swimming pool/sea view and sunscreen for the sunshine in the afternoon. The garden and swimming pool area are beautiful and clean. The beach is right next to the complex.

The complex is very hard to find, also because there are no signs at the end of the entrance road. We checked with several guards from different resorts and after a long search we found the entrance gate with the guard who send us away earlier !!! It was end May/begin June and very quiet, other owners showed up occasionally. The door to appt. 203 had an electronic lock which did not work and could not be repaired. There was a lockbox with a physical key ! There were too many items not working and a repair man fixed it only partly (this should have been fixed before our arrival). The main light in the bedroom could not be swiched on because a cord was missing. There were many lightbulbs broken/finished. The living room airco turned into a waterfall, this was solved the next days bij a repair man. Some lamp switches were broken, one tv remote control also. The TV had no antenna connection so there is only internet TV. The warm water heater did not work upon our arrival, it was repaired after a few days. The quantity of water in the shower is moderate/not much. For the price we paid we had expected more than an enless series of necessary repairs. Since there is no restaurant in the complex you need a car to go eat in El Limon (10 minutes) or Las Terrenas (20 minutes). The beach is beautiful and clean, there are some dogs. The bottom of the bay/sea is covered by green plants, a muddy sort of sand underneath. The cleaning fee is for after you leave, during your stay you have to clean it yourself, including towels, bedlinnen etcetera.
