Excellent location: around five minutes’ walk from the beach and ten minutes from the Old Town, with a supermarket one minute away and plenty of other amenities nearby. Despite being so central, the apartment and surrounding residential area are very quiet. Uber, Bolt and taxis can easily pick up and drop off outside, making trips further afield straightforward without needing a car. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and well laid out. The kitchen and bathroom appear relatively recently fitted, while the rest is comfortably and practically furnished, with enough decorative touches to make it feel homely without being cluttered or dated. There is a generous furnished private balcony overlooking an open green area, with a distant sea view. Management is professional, communication excellent and any issues are dealt with promptly. Overall, a very good practical base for the beach and Old Town: clean, quiet, comfortable and exceptionally convenient.

This isn’t a luxury apartment and there is no air conditioning, although using the traditional shutters to keep the sun out during the day and ventilating the apartment keeps it reasonably comfortable. The third-floor apartment has no lift, and the walk back from the beach is quite steep — although Albufeira is generally hilly and there are plenty of tuk-tuks at the bottom if you don’t fancy the climb! The second bedroom is a small bunk room without an external window, although we found it perfectly comfortable. There can also be some smell from the kitchen drains when they haven’t been used for a while, but running water regularly seemed to resolve it. There is no dedicated parking and the public spaces outside were usually occupied. Value will inevitably depend on the price paid, particularly compared with the more luxurious apartments and hotels nearby, but for us it did exactly what we needed.

Apartamento moderno e bem localizado. Fica a 8m a pé da praia e 20m da rua da oura. Supermercado mais perto a 10/15m a pé.

O wifi não funciona. As televisões também não funcionam bem. Para uma estadia de 5 dias deram apenas 1 toalha de banho e rosto a cada pessoa.
