Magical stay in the jungle.

I really like the breakfast a whole lot. Never really checked out the surrounding area, we just basically rested in the resort the whole time and had breakfast lunch and dinner there which was all good. The couples massage was freaking awesome, about three hours of experience.

A few reviewers say that's a little noisy. That's really due to the construction of a new unit. They basically only work on it in the afternoon at least when we were there so I never thought it was too noisy. And they never did any construction work in the evening at least when we were there. I don't think this is a negative thing it's just a a few comments over what I've read.

Serene eco-retreat getaway away from Canggu

The bamboo and lava stone pillar villas are spectacularly designed. They are perched on a lush jungle covered bank dropping down to the river. The beds are super comfortable and with verdant views. The food particularly the vegetarian dishes are superb,

We are a couple in our sixties who stayed with our grand niece in the two bedroom villa. Although we are fit enough to handle the steps and the staircase to the bedrooms some less sprightly folk may have difficulty.

I had a great stay. Very relaxing, quiet. Love it!

The staff are all exceptional, attending to every detail. From the very beginning they have dropped us nice whatsapp messages welcoming us, giving directions. That hospitality far exceeded our expectations.

1. Air conditioning doesnt really work well in the day. It can get very stuffy and warm in the room, and the outside feels cooler. Someone came to help fix but it is still the same. Thank goodness we were out both the afternoons so not affected so much. 2. Quite a climb from our room to the reception / dining area but that's the charm of the place. I guess I am just weak. ;)

The property is absolutely stunning — surrounded by lush jungle and beautifully designed with natural materials that make you feel completely connected to nature. The staff were kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and recharging. The breakfast by the pool was delicious and beautifully presented.

The only small downside was the number of insects in the evening, but it’s expected in such a natural setting. It didn’t affect the overall experience.

We had an unforgettable stay at Suenyo Eco Retreat. The hotel itself feels like a hidden paradise — beautifully designed, surrounded by nature, and incredibly peaceful. Everything, from the rooms to the little details, was perfectly thought out to create a relaxing and luxurious experience. A special mention goes to Anik at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing — warm, professional, and always ready to help with a big smile. She truly made us feel at home and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Spacious, very relaxing, and the staff was truly attentive and caring. An excellent place to unwind and spend quality time with your partner. The activities offered by the hotel were just wonderful — from massages to coconut milk baths, everything was designed for pure well-being.

There was really nothing we didn’t like. If we had to suggest one small improvement, it would be regarding the menu — some of the dishes were a bit too spicy for our taste. It would be great to have more non-spicy options, and better accommodations for guests with allergies, especially to shrimp. That said, the team always did their best to adapt and find solutions, which we truly appreciated.

A little slice of heaven

We loved how quiet and peaceful the retreat is, the great atmosphere and ambience of the place. No noisy neighbours, no screaming, just an oasis of peace. The staff are so polite and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, your food is delivered to the bungalow each day, and delicious! If you are looking to disconnect, recharge, and relax, this is the place for you.

The retreat is in a area that doesn't have shops or restaurants nearby, however the food at the resort is great, and as we came there to relax not shop this wasn't an issue for us.

Staff is very welcoming, especially Hendra & Mila who were just awesome throughout the whole stay. The pavilions are very private, and the staff is careful about announcing their presence and requesting to enter before coming anywhere near your private spaces (pool/river deck). The breakfast is also super good, and they serve the best avocado smash & pancakes we had in Bali. Lastly, cleanliness is great as the rooms are sprayed twice a day with insect repellent and they do a great job at housekeeping.

The bathroom is outside the room so just keep in mind that you may find an occasional lizard or bugs when you head out to the restroom. What’s good though is that it is covered so if it rains you are not affected.

Wonderful Retreat

A beautifully well design bamboo house located next to the river with lots of greenery. Staff was very professional and helpful, service was awesome. The meals were very tasty and beautifully presented. Massage and yoga were good. Great place to escape for a few days to chill and enjoy nature. Love waking up to the sound of nature in the morning.

Lounge chairs by the window would be nice, to chill inside the room when you don't feel like hanging out at the hammock or the pool. Some noise from the neighboring construction. The air conditioning was not strong enough when the sun rises but you can always ask for an extra fan in the room. Pool was not very well maintained.

Beautiful escape

It was a very beautiful escape into the forest to enjoy nature in a comfortable atmosphere. You must try their massage. It was wonderful. The staff were friendly and provided the best service. Special thanks to Anik, who took care of us and the massage therapist. The food is very delicious and healthy, and gluten-free food is available.

Die Anlage besteht nur aus fünf einzigartigen Bungalows, liebevoll eingebettet in die Natur - man fühlt sich wie mitten im Dschungel, mit Blick auf den Fluss. Das Frühstück war köstlich und wurde liebevoll zubereitet - genau das Richtige für einen entspannten Start in den Tag. Das Personal ist unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit. Der zuverlässige Wäscheservice und die wohltuenden Massagen vor Ort absolut empfehlenswert ! Wer Ruhe, Natur und echtes Bali-Feeling sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ich komme definitiv wieder! 😊

Harika konsept bir otel, sakin baş başa bir tatil için güzel bir seçenek.

Bizim konakladığımız zaman Tesisin etrafında inşaat çalışmaları vardı, ses çok olmadı ama maalesef işçiler vardı uzakta da olsa. Bu bir inziva oteli bu tarz durumların yaşanması üzücü.
