Immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed with plenty of blankets. Good wifi and a nice little Roku TV. A small bottle of water, some shampoo and an extra roll of toilet paper shows typical Zacatlán consideration.
No towel, that I could see, though I guess if I needed one I could ask. No kitchen. No fridge. Both would be a welcome addition. Even a hotplate on the terrace would suffice for my needs. It would make a world of difference to weary travellers. No actual parking, though you will find a spot on the "street."
I arrived after dark, about 7:30 pm, hungry, in the rain, with an overheating engine. The neighbourhood is not well lit, there are no nearby restaurants, the last two streets are dirt tracks and the very last becomes grass with a steep gradient.
Do not rely on Google maps and do strive to arrive before dark. Ignore Google's first suggestion.
Take 119 to Cda. De Zaragoza, head uphill to Prol. Bibiano Hernandez, turn right. Turn left at 1a Cerrada Vicente Guerrero, which isn't labeled on Google maps but Google should get you there if you've marked the property as your destination.
Do not drive right up to or past the property in the rain in the dark or you might find yourself sliding to the bottom. Stop at the top of the hill and walk. It's only 20 ft. from the crest.
The owner provided directions to come in from Calle Jose Maria iglesias, but I didn't read them until now. Heading out, from what I recall, it wasn't passable in my vehicle. My Spanish is not so good. If yours is, call the property when you get close.
It's actually quite easy to get to from the highway - once you know how - which would make the food situation easier. At the very least he could provide a number to order pizza.
Also, the terrace is fine, but it's enclosed at ground level. Also the owner first claimed not to have one, then said I couldn't use it because there were dogs. Like the dogs cared. One was very friendly and gregarious, the other aloof and completely indifferent to my presence.
The view from the roof is probably great, but apparently not on offer.

Nos agradó mucho la atención, la calidez del anfitrión, la disponibilidad y que nos dió la libertad de llegar y dejar nuestras cosas para ir de paseo, además de que no dió un tour por la ciudad y nos brindo mucha información de la historia y eso a uno como turista pues nos fascinó.
Todo muy bien, el lugar es tal cuál se describió. No tuvimos ningún detalle
