Haelarcher Helicopter Glamping

Quirky and unusual accommodation, really great welcome from Mike and Caroline, full breakfast menu was varied and delicious.

Could have had comfortable seating and a small table in the cabin next to the helicopter - there was really nowhere to sit and read or play cards.

Super einzigartiges Erlebnis, vielen Dank, wir hatten Spaß und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Es wurde einfach an jedes Detail gedacht, auch zum Schlafen war es richtig gemütlich! Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen nett und lustig, auch das Frühstück war sehr gut! Darüber hinaus hatten wir, an unserem letzten Tag am SWCP noch einen sehr netten Abend im Pub 😄

Breakfast was ok.

The helicopter bed is quite restrictive and my friend found it too claustrophobic and spent the entire night on an uncomfortable chair in the windy attached awning. However, we knew that it was small when we booked it, it is a helicopter after all! If the helicopter had a shed or conservatory attached with proper doors and windows and a proper floor and furniture, instead of an ill fitting flapping tent then it would be a fun experience. Unfortunately for us on a windy and cold night it wasn’t.
