Seamount, a beautiful house overlooking Tamariu

I very rarely give a 10/10, but in this case it was genuinely deserved. The apartment's location is great, a very short walk to the town's lovely beach and the listing description is very honest about what to expect. In our specific circumstance, ee arrived to find that, unfortunately, the apartment had not been cleaned before check-in. As we were only staying for one night, it was the kind of situation that could easily have turned the whole stay into a disaster. What made all the difference was the host, Gareth. He responded immediately, was incredibly helpful and reassuring, and took care of everything without making the situation any more stressful than it needed to be. We went out for dinner, and just a couple hours later even before we were back I received a message confirming everything had been organised and completely sorted. Things can go wrong, and for me the real measure of a great host is how they respond when they do. Gareth handled it brilliantly and completely turned the experience around. The 10/10 may have been earned in unusual circumstances, but it was absolutely deserved.

The facilities are all correct and according to the description of the listing however I feel like there could be more attention placed on comfort. The mattresses and pillows are acceptable at best. There could be a bit more attention to amenities or perhaps some snacks/drinks because a small gesture in these circumstances goes a very very long way.

Nada

Super convenient location, and great value for money.

Would like a terrace to sit out on - but knew at booking it didn’t have one, so no fault of the advertisement. Could have had bigger pillows but minor pt.
