L'équipement, le mobilier et la déco sont vraiment décevants pour un appartement de ce standing. La cuisine est vraiment toute petite. Il n'y a même pas un plan de travail, et il n'y a absolument aucun équipement à part la machine à café et un batteur (même pas un presse-agrumes). La déco est vraiment nulle (les cadres = tous les mêmes achetés en série). A l'arrière, les volets sont manuels et bricolés avec une vis qui dépasse dangereusement. La literie est tout à fait correcte, mais le mobilier de très basse qualité. Sur la terrasse, il n'y a pas de transats corrects (juste 4 trucs en plastique inconfortables). Les balcons à l'arrière étaient très sales, pleins de crottes et avec un siège tout cassé. Les vitres de la terrasse étaient sales (pas faites depuis longtemps et pleines de crottes). Ces remarques sont faites uniquement dans un esprit constructif :-)

We stayed in this apartment in mid-September and really enjoyed it. The location is fantastic, right by the beach (literally a one-minute walk), so I can imagine it being incredible in summer (and incredibly busy, too!). There’s plenty of public parking out the front, which probably shows how busy it gets in peak season, there's a lot of tarmac around. We had two cars but had no trouble finding spots nearby. Parking isn’t included, but using the Flowbird app made it easy to pay, around €15 a day, so worth budgeting for. Parking in France is usually free but not in Le Touquet unless you park far outside the centre. The main high street is less than five minutes’ walk away, and Le Touquet isn’t big, so you can get absolutely everywhere on foot from here, which makes it ideal. The building exterior is a bit of a 1970s futurist dream, but inside the apartment it’s a really good standard. The bedrooms are a nice size, there’s plenty of seating in the lounge and dining area, and enough crockery for everyone. One bedroom has an ensuite, and there’s a separate family bathroom and seperate toilet for the other rooms - great layout for families or friends sharing. (A small suggestion: a bit of hand soap in the toilet would be a thoughtful touch!) The kitchen is functional but quite basic, fine for breakfast and drinks, but probably not for anyone planning to cook full meals. We ended up eating out for all our meals, which worked perfectly for us. Everything was clean and easy to use. A couple of small things could be improved: the pillows really need updating (they were flat and lumpy), and the TV setup wasn’t great. It’s an older, non-smart TV connected to a French TV box, which we couldn’t access as non-residents. A simple smart TV would make a big difference for international guests. Overall, it’s not a luxury apartment, but it’s perfectly comfortable, clean, and in a great location.

We had to arrange some to meet us via Whatsapp, they wrote in English which was great, but it was a little outdated. Lockbox for keys with code would be far more flexible, as when meeting someone you don't want to keep them waiting, and when driving it can be a little stressful to keep them updated with an ETA, and knowing when you're an hour away as requested. If you are super strict time keeping person, you will be ok with this! But we have just been used to lockboxes/keyless entry, so it felt very old school having to meet someone to check in, and, have them come get the key off you to check out. Even leaving the key in the mailbox would be better than arranging a time to meet someone to check out.
