Utbygårdens Hostel

The peace and quite , the place was empty so it was very peaceful and they had a lovely cherry tree. x

It was a little pricy for a hostel and we had to make our own beds and clean our room for the next guests in order not to pay an extra fee and I think it is not really hygienic and every person has different hygiene standards so I think cleaning should be included

Trevligt bemötande av personalen. Att det fanns möjlighet till kyl och frys. Egen toalett på rummet. Hade jag vetat i förväg att Dalhalla bussen stannade precis utanför boendet så hade det varit ännu bättre. Sängarna var sköna och bra kvalité på kudde och täcke, bra att det fanns läslampor. Trevligt med bokhylla där man kunde ta en gratis bok om man ville

Önskar att det fanns ett skohorn i rummet, eventuellt att skoställ fanns i korridoren då det var skoförbud i rummet. Lite väl lyhört men somnade ändå.

A very nice area and surroundings with typical housings for the region. A big kitchen, with all amenities and easy to cook for 4 people and have a meal in the big, light and cosy eating area. The garden is immense and the house is functional, clean and to standards. Free parking. Perfect for a short stopover, with grocery stores not too far away and the beautiful city of Rättvik nearby. Personnel present during office hours were very friendly and helpful.

Access to the lake of Siljan is not easily done by foot. Taking the car, it was not easy to find the closest beach (Tina's) and some more easy instructions at the property would be appreciated. As the day starts very early during summer in Sweden, the curtains in the room do not really function as blinds and those being sensitive to light in the room should bring a sleeping mask.
