Poppy Lodge

Very central to many resorts that we wanted to visit. Shop on site for needs. They do cooked breakfast items but didn't have time to use them. Instructions in lodge very handy very quiet position. Needed to put fire on some nights as weather during day sunny and warm but certainly dropped at night this time if year. Owner checked to make sure all ok and left a lovely gift basket. Wanted to stay longer xxx

Location was ideal for us. Cleanest holiday home we have ever had. Had everything you could possibly need

Wouldn’t change anything

Beautiful property. Home from home. Situated opposite stunning views of fields and hills. Opportunity to watch the sun set from the living room in the evenings. Situated within a short drive from Ilfracombe and other beeches close by, Woolacombe, Westwood Ho! And close to Barnstable and Biddeford. Property is very spacious, large bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of storage for clothes. Kitchen has everything you need and we were provided with tea and coffee and biscuits in our welcome pack as well as cleaning products. Lovely area to sit on veranda provided with seating and cushions. Large car parking area means that you not to close the the Lodge next door. Lodge has lots of interesting bits and bobs and paintings, including local crafts.

There was nothing that we disliked about the property. The site was clean and well maintained.
