The room was Spartan, all white, except for the floor, but REASSURINGLY CLEAN. There was one small bedside table with a small lamp and a clothes rack in the corner with some hangers. There was a small kitchen table and two chairs. Other than the bed, there was no other furniture. There was a large wide screen TV mounted in the corner we did not use. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was quiet. There was a large dorm size refrigerator with a separate freezer. In addition to the independently controlled AC, there was a box fan and what appeared to be a space heater. Of course, there was a microwave and a coffee maker. We left items behind in the room, and an individual I was texting at the property phone number was able to help retrieve the items and the cleaning lady left them where we could find them by reaccessing the building by the doors you may read about under the "what didn't you like" section.
The table and dining chairs felt fragile and creaky. There was no elevator and the whole building felt a bit held together with glue and tape. Everything was more than a bubble off plumb. It was a crooked little place comprised of at least two adjoining buildings with different floor levels to the one beside it. There were long staircases and short staircases and floors that were a little up or a little down from the building next door. It was not a problem for us, but I have a friend who would not have been able to get past it. MOST IMPORTANT is the key lock system. There is No One On Duty on property. You get an email and text with instructions for how to access a key box and/or key pad lock systems. We made it as far as getting in the key box, but using the key to successfully enter the building was a challenge. Several groups arrived at the same time. At least three people tried to make the key work in the door, repeatedly, until one man managed to figure out you had to push the door in before you turned the key. We all stood outside banging on the door and calling for help while he figured it out. Then, there were people who knew their code to access their room, but they didn't know their room number. FINALLY, when trying to leave, we encountered the inside of the door we had difficulty accessing upon arrival. We couldn't get it to open so we could leave. One of our new friends we had met while trying to access the building the previous afternoon was there ahead of us trying to get out. Between the three of us, we couldn't get the door to open from the inside. So, I went through the rabbit warren of the building, looking for another way out. From the outside, I went around to the original double doors and unlocked them from the outside, but still couldn't get the door to open. On the inside, there is a second lock that says, "Do Not Touch." You know how well that works.

The bed was extra comfy, and the room size was nice
It would be nice to have bottled water in room and also a central ice machine would be good.

I like how close we were to everything we wanted to see in Hot Springs. The room was fine for how little we paid to stay in it. Absolutely nothing fancy, but it was clean.
We couldn't get the double doors of the building open, the lock felt busted. We were able to gain entry at the other door. Another guest, who kept going out to smoke, didn't lock the building door behind her. We kept locking it to secure the building, but it didn't stay that way long. She also slammed her room door every time she used it and it woke us up a few times late in the night. The bathroom door didn't close completely. This made using the bathroom kind of awkward. We struggled with doors here
