Casa Castelão

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Castelão and would happily return in the future. The location, surrounded by vineyards, is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our family. Our children loved having plenty of space to run around and explore. Although you can occasionally hear cars from the nearby road, the atmosphere is still peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped and encouraged us to cook during our stay, although a few additional utensils would have been appreciated. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the small playground, and the football field. These facilities were a real highlight for our family and were used every day. Overall, Casa Castelão offered a lovely combination of comfort, nature, and family-friendly amenities. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The pillows were unfortunately not very comfortable, and the mattress in one of the bedrooms was far too firm for our liking. We believe these are small details that could easily be improved and would help the accommodation fully live up to its otherwise excellent standard.

This was such a great find! The accommodation was just perfect for what we required, which was based on location. Loved the location and space the property provided. Check-in and Check-Out were effortless and smooth, and done with friendliness.

Not that it's majorly important, but the lack of TV channels to get basic news, and the shower could be a little bit larger, given the actual size of the bathroom, which is spacious.
