Everything was perfect for a Christmas and New year holiday. El Roque is a breath of fresh air. Loved waking up to the sound of the goats.
Would have been perfect with a washing machine, but I did know there wasn’t one there.

We had a fantastic holiday at Casa Oscar. The house is comfortable , well equipped and in a superb location. It’s very spacious, has a wonderful atmosphere with some great art work . We have stayed in El Cotillo several times but after investigating El Roque last year and saying at Casa Oscar this year we have decided we definitely prefer El Roque. The location is very peaceful , parking is easy , the house has spectacular views to the hills and there are many walks available nearby. It’s only about 1km to the supermarket and restaurants in El Cotillo and the beach is a short drive away. In addition to visiting the beach a particular standouts of the holiday were the walks we did to Betancuria on the GR131 long distance path . (After a long walk and swim I can recommend visiting Anita at Touch of Wellness Massage in Calle de Isla Lobos (El Cotillo ) ! )
Reinhard , the host for Casa Oscar is fantastic he is easy to contact , supportive and gives very clear instructions about how to access the house .
