Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος ήταν στο κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης ακριβώς πάνω από την Πλατεία Αριστοτέλους. Το διαμέρισμα ήταν ανακαινισμένο και περιποιημένο.
Η πολυκατοικία ήταν εντός στοάς, σκοτεινή και πολύ παραμελημένη. Το μικρό μπαλκόνι έβλεπε μόνο σε ακάλυπτο. Υπήρχαν κάποιες ρωγμές στους τοίχους στο σαλόνι και την κρεβατοκάμαρα που πρέπει να επισκευαστούν. Φτάνοντας στον όροφο του διαμερίσματος με το ασανσέρ πρέπει να κατεβείς και σκάλες για να φτάσεις στο διαμέρισμα και εάν υπήρχε άτομο με κινητικά προβλήματα ή με αναπηρικό αμαξίδιο δεν θα είχε πρόσβαση στο κατάλυμα. Δεν υπήρχε πιστολάκι μαλλιών όπως περιγράφεται και από κατσαρόλες για μαγείρεμα υπήρχε μόνο ένα μικρό κατσαρολάκι με το οποίο μπορούσες να ζεστάνεις λίγο γάλα ή να βράσεις 3 αυγά και όχι να μαγειρέψεις. Επίσης η πρώτη διανυκτέρευση διακόπηκε απότομα λόγω εργασιών με κομπρεσέρ που γίνονταν στην πολυκατοικία από τις 7 το πρωί.
