We really enjoyed our stay at Liz’s property — it’s a lovely apartment in a great location, nicely furnished, very clean and comfortable, with great views of the sea. Liz was a great host and really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She also very kindly offered us a lift back to the station when we left, which was much appreciated.

The only piece of advice we would give to potential guests staying on a Friday or Saturday night is to check the schedule of events at the Fonc Lounge, (which is located directly beneath the property) before booking. The Fonc Lounge is a nice bar, but what we didn’t realise was that there was a DJ night on the Friday, with very loud house music playing until around 2am and people still in the outside area until about 2:30am. Even with earplugs, the bass from the speakers and noise from people outside was very noticeable (earplugs definitely needed). It didn’t stop us enjoying our stay overall, and I don’t believe the DJ nights are every Friday, but it’s probably worth checking the schedule beforehand if you’re looking for a particularly quiet stay. Saturday night was much better, with a live jazz/funk band playing until around midnight. The band were excellent and we spent some time in the bar that evening, which had a great atmosphere.

We found as promised a duel aspect sea view, right in the centre of Swanage overlooking the old pier. All amenities were of high standard & spotlessly clean. Bed comfortable with good quality bedding.Very inviting sitting areas to enjoy & take in all that was happening around the busy area.our stay coincided with Carnival Week & we found it an excellent property to use as a base. I believe parking is available also - however we travelled by bus so didn’t need it. Thank you to all concerned, we had a lovely stay.

I don’t think anything could or needs to be improved. Guests get exactly what is described & in our case the apartment exceeded expectation.

Liz went above and beyond to help us. our train was delayed and we missed our next train to wareham so Liz came all the way to Bournemouth to fetch us!! She truly was exceptional! She then helped us by showing us around the apartment and helped us with things to do in the area!! Thank you Liz!!!!

Goede uitvalbasis voor het South West Coast Pad.

De badkamer, te weinig handdoeken voor een midweek (2). Geen shampoo, zeep, geen ventilatie, slechte verlichting, kortom , aan renovatie toe. Slechte wifi, interieur zeer stijlloos, prijs, kwaliteit niet ok. Net boven café??????
