A real gem in the middle of lavender fields

A real gem in the middle of lavender fields. Becomes so quite at night so you can enjoy sound of crickets while stargazing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there.

There we some flies and other insects, understandbly since the place is so natural, but we were prepared and didn't bother us much.

Lavender scented Gîte near Gorges du Verdon

Location was perfect. It is right in the field of lavender fields (but season ended on 1st week of July) The Gîte was thoroughly cleaned with a touch of lavender scent inside. Ut is also well equipped for your cooking and barbecue(complete ustensils). You also have the following : Washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, hair dryer, TV with Youtube, Internet and plenty of outdoor area. It is also in a secured private lot with private gate where you'll stay right below the home owners. Though the owners live upstairs, they are very kind and caring and you get total privacy and they allow "tolerable noise" even at night. The welcoming homeowners are very accomodating and will make sure that you have a perfect stay. - Lac Sainte Croix is just 30mins where you can do your water activities like kayak and paddle boats along the Gorges du Verdon (this is where you'd want to go as you can cruise right inside the Gorges/Canyon) - Route des Cretes is 40mins away and is perfect for your roadtrip as you drive along panoramic spots and views of the Gorges. - Verdon river is 10mins walk and is nice for an early morning walk along it. - The place is in Greoux-les-Bains, a quiet and pleasant little village near Valensole(home of lavender fields too which is around 20mins drive) PS: The owners do not charge you a cleaning fee so it would be kind to help cleaning a little bit before you go and to not leave the place in a mess. 😀

No AC but it's fine as it gets cold EVEN ON SUMMER NIGHTS. Beds in the living room are 2 single beds and not sofa bed so we just put the beds next to each other which was used by our another couple friends. The master's bedroom though is Double Bed which is very comfortable for a couple and is separated to the living room with sliding doors. Besides that, it's a really good accomodation and is worth booking again if we go back to visit the region.

It is located on the country side nearby Greoux village. Recently refurbished with very nice furniture. Large garden outside with options to stay on the shade or under the sun. Very good sleep

Bonito y cómodo apartamento con jardín cerca de Greoux-les Bains

Apartamento bonito y limpio con cama cómoda en los bajos de una casa rural. Lavadora por si la necesitas y cocina. Decorado con gusto. También tenía un jardín para tomar el sol. El anfitrión nos abrió la puerta a la hora acordada.

Stilvoll und ruhig...

Das Appartment liegt ruhig und verkehrsgünstig vor den Toren von Gréoux-les-Bains inmitten eines großen Grundstücks mit ferngesteuertem Tor. Die Besitzer wohnen nebenan im Haus, haben uns freundlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Es gibt diverse Sitzgelegenheiten, Tische und Liegen auf der grossen Terrasse. Wohn- und Schlafbereich sind durch eine Schiebetüre teilbar. Unser Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm.

Wir haben keine Polster für die Terrassenstühle und Liegen vorgefunden, vielleicht hätte es welche auf Nachfrage gegeben. Ein Sonnenschirm wäre auch hilfreich gewesen. Wir haben stattdessen Schatten bei der Sitzgruppe unter den Bäumen gefunden.
