Downtown Cedar City House < 1/2 Mi to SUU Campus!

Traveling to the Utah Shakespeare Festival with our four adult children and three of their partners, we found that the "green roof" house was exactly what we needed. The place is spotless, well-maintained and nicely appointed. The host is very easy to work with and readily accessible by phone or text. (We discovered a leak under the kitchen sink the day we arrived, and the maintenance guy came over to fix it right away.) The floor plan is compact but had plenty of room for the nine of us (and abundant storage for all our things). Though the house has been boxed in by commercial businesses and is on Main Street, it was surprisingly quiet at night. We visited during a period of unseasonable heat, so the evaporative cooling unit in our upstairs room was a must, but it did its job well. Most important for us, the house is an easy 10-minute walk from the festival grounds. Two grocery stores, Lin's and Smiths, are a couple of blocks away in either direction. (One tip: The house is easier to access if you approach from the south.) I would definitely stay here again on a future family vacation.
