Welcome to the village of Maissubert, in our beautiful Hautes-Alpes region.
The landscapes of the Champsaur-Valgaudemar Valley are breathtaking.
The GR50 (Écrins National Park Loop) forms a 365-km loop around the Écrins National Park in the French Alps.
There are some beautiful hikes to look forward to, with varying levels of difficulty.

- Le Glaizil (ruins of the Duke of Lesdiguières’ castle...)

, a lake for swimming in the summer. Municipal indoor pool
- Corps, Lake Sautet
- 35 minutes from the Notre Dame de la Salette Shrine - Ski resorts 20 to 45 minutes away by car
- Fiber-optic Wi-Fi in the accommodation for faster internet browsing and a smart TV.
Located halfway between all the must-see attractions, you’ll appreciate the peaceful atmosphere at Maissubert(formerly Le Mas Hubert)
Our old farmhouse, before being renovated into a simple and pleasant vacation rental in 2018,
was the first stone summer pasture building in the middle of the pastures, once home to shepherds and their sheep during the transhumance.
(dating back to around the 17th century)
The walls and chimney flue have been preserved.
You’ll discover a spacious home featuring two beautiful bedrooms with a lovely view of the mountains, at the foot of the Banc du Peyron (an old stone cairn).
A garage to park your car in the winter!
A beautiful living room/kitchen area with a balcony for lunch on the first sunny days. In the summer, you can fully enjoy the garden. A barbecue is available for outdoor use only, of course. Chairs and tables are provided. 2 umbrellas.
Please be aware that the sheep pens are right next door, so keep a close eye on your dogs.
Do not approach the sheep.
Our property is fenced with a wire mesh gate.
