About this cabin rental
Chickadee is a newly fully remodeled Mountain Modern cabin outside Steamboat on the famous Elk River. This cabin easily sleeps 6 with two bathrooms, a king bed in the master, two twin beds in the second bedroom, and a new foam pullout couch in the living room. This plush cabin has everything you need for relaxing, including a leather couch and chairs in the living room next to the wood-burning river rock fireplace. The large back patio has four Adirondack chairs and a hammock chair for hanging out and enjoying the Colorado Mountain views. Both bathrooms were remodeled in 2023 and now offer a roomy shower in the master and a tub/shower in the guest bath. This cabin is perfectly situated on the river for perfect mountain views. Chickadee is steps away from all Glen Eden Resort amenities, including pickleball/tennis, hot tub, seasonal pool, and wedding/event space down in the wooded Lower Glen.

wondereful time here at Glen Eden. We used multiple cabins for all the wedding guest. This one was used by the wedding couple which was great being so close to the Lower Glen.

Property is very nice and location was good. Check in and out was easy.
Only suggestion, put a lock on the master bedroom door.
Caused an issue, where the next morning at breakfast when mom and dad had to go explain some stuff about the birds and bees when our youngest walked in while we were “wrestling” according to the oldest, happened when youngest, late one night needed their night night cup refilled.
I thought she locked it, she thought I did. Turned out neither did because they have the cheapest door knob in the world in the place on the master bed door.

Loved the location on the property and we could listen to the river all night. It was exactly as they have shown in the pictures of the property and area
