The Maple at Hamilton Cove ~ Pet-Friendly Lake Area Cabin

The view is stunning!!! Everything you need is there. Mega bonus points for having a pizza cutter. The owners are easy to reach and very accommodating and kind. This place has a wonderful deck and grill, views of the lake, perfect for our long weekend getaway!

Our visit was very enjoyable. The host was accommodating to all of our needs to get us settled in and happy.

Very reasonably priced

This rental was pretty much exactly what we expected. It was cute, cozy and clean. Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough. We rented a cabin for 5 days to relax and watch the solar eclipse. The first 2 days there was only one other neighbor on the property. By Sunday it started to fill up a bit. The cabins are close together, but our neighbors were chill, so it was fine. But do keep in mind that some of the rentals share a patio space. The view of Lake Hamilton was lovely with fantastic sunsets. There were a few hiccups but I imagine that was due to the rental being pretty new. I think the eclipse was their grand opening, so they probably have a few kinks to work out. The combination given fir the doir didn't work when we arrived. Thankfully the patio dor was open, so we were able to get inside. The host was very responsive and got it fixed pretty quickly. We were unable to log onto wifi until day 2 cause no one seemed to know the right password. There were no remotes for the tv. The host eventually brought us one, but it didn't work. These weren't major issues though. The place was impeccably clean and the tile in the kitchenand bathroom were nice. Shower had good water pressure and was nice and hot. The fridfe was big and had an ice maker. The kitchen was stocked with the basics for cooking. Unfortunately the grill didn't have propane and when we asked, the host told us it used charcoal ( it didn't), so we didn't end up using the grill. But all in all, a good stay.
